Bill Oates has a long involvement with Bed and Breakfasts and Country Inns. For over thirty years he has provided educational, operational and marketing services to Inns and Innkeepers, present and future, throughout the country. His thorough knowledge of the Inn business is tempered by a real understanding of the human component. Bill is often referred to as the "Guru of the Inn business."

Inn Consulting Partners works with a limited number of Bed and Breakfasts and Country Inns as a consultant in the sale process. All Consultant Inns are viable businesses and all are priced on the basis of a prior and independent Valuation.

Bill and Heide have consulted in the sale of over 200 Inns throughout the United States (and two in Europe!)

Bill has spoken at every conference of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII). In 1999, in partnership with his wife/partner Heide Bredfeldt and son David Hiler, he purchased the Three Mountain Inn in Jamaica, Vermont. Heide Bredfeldt of Inn Partners has been assisting current and future Innkeepers for over thirty years, with her spouse and business partner, Bill Oates.
